Appropriate materials and activities for the ages and stages of development of the children will be set up in the following
centres:

~Sand or water table ~Blocks
~Dramatic centre ~Housekeeping
~Large muscle area ~Science table
~Arts and crafts ~Writing/Office
~Library ~Music and Listening

~Manipulative floor toys (cars and garages, puppets, etc.)
~Table toys (board games, puzzles, pegboards, etc.)

Teachers will interact with the children as they play
individually, in pairs or in small groups in the centres. The play materials and even the centres may be changed, added to or stored away according to the themes or interests and
development of the children, to enhance the play.

The children will come together as a large group twice a day, at storytime and for a short circle. Circletime activities will
include fingerplays, songs, action songs, music, movement, games and poetry.

Field trips, cooking, computer classes and special visitors will be scheduled approximately once a month.

All activities will be planned in accordance with our belief that the best education for children is one in which they are presented with a large variety of new and interesting
concepts.
